my friend’s friend is at the show, and sam got the idea to take a picture with riley (she loves, like, really loves, sam and riley) so my friend’s friend could send it to her. and my friend sent it to me. does that make sense I guess?

Shortly after the release of our song “Sanctuary,” I started getting letters on tour. 1 page, 3 page, 10 page, anonymous, pencil, pen, in color, in crayon…lots and lots of letters. The more people listening, the more letters, now I get about 10-15 every time we play a show.

A note about merch for this tour, if you’ve ever wondered what happens when you go back to the merch table and spend your hard-earned money: because we are an unsigned band, and we don’t have a manager, it means that we have to pay for everything in the recording of our new album ourselves, and that every dollar spent on merch goes right back into making of our new music, new touring, and keeping our organization running. It’s the money you’ve spent on t-shirts that has kept us running this far, and the reason we’ve been able to dream really big for this next album. We’re just hitting the home stretch, and just need one great tour to finish out this album right!
